holes in my fingers

from the insane amount of gathering in the last 48 hours.  tomorrow, i will start the embellishing, with completion a bleak speck on the horizon.  somehow, between the flesh wounds and sarcasm, i am really enjoying the work.

today's work

the first of a pair of garments.  i am expanding on my use of these bulbous forms, letting them exaggerate the the body.  these forms offer a permanent gesture to the garment, while the body language of the wearer becomes secondary and somewhat restricted.  there is some beading and other embellishing that still needs to be done, but i am going to construct the second piece first.
